The Science and Engineering Education Research and Innovation Hub has developed a new online course with partners including Royal Academy of Engineering, working with the Faculty of Science and Engineering eLearning team to support primary and lower secondary school teachers.
The course is available via Canvas Catalogue, with a launch webinar on 27 April hosted by the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Students and staff are invited to submit proposals for the 2025 ITL Conference, held on the 2 and 3 July 2025. Various formats are encouraged, such as Wicked Problem Sets, Paper presentations, Poster displays, and Lightning talks. The submission deadline is 5pm 28th February.

This academic year saw the re-launch of Managing My Future – an interactive and engaging, two-hour employability session for all 2nd year students in the Faculty of Science & Engineering. Managing my Future was designed by the FSE careers team with the aim to inspire students to make the most of their second year and proactively prepare for their futures.

In September 2023 there was a showcase and discussion of ‘Creating a sense of community and inclusion through T&L’, which brought together speakers from across the Faculty. The talks from the showcase event are uploaded here.
